We designed John Legend’s “pad” in Manhattan; the ninth floor of a thin new tower downtown with 18 ft ceiling heights has generous floor to ceiling windows. The design, making this into a relaxed series of spaces, resulted in the following: a master bedroom suite, a music room, and a living/dining area.

Areas are designated by gray / silver wall coverings [master bedroom] black and white room [music room with piano] and a soft gray zone [living], all fluidly connected. The large chandelier “Atlantis 100” by Barlas Baylar in nickel chain and gloss nickel plated bands is suspended over the B&B Maxalto dining table and, John notes, creates a real conversation piece!
